8TH CONGREGATION & ALUMNI HOMECOMING

The Principal and the Academic Board on behalf of the Governing Council announced for the information of Atebubu College of Education past Students, Graduands, Parents and the general public that the 8th Congregation Ceremony for the award of Diploma in Basic Education Certificates to persons who completed their programme of study in 2018 is slated for; THURSDAY 11TH JULY, 2019 at 9:30AM at the College Auditorium.
THEME: “The Introduction of the B.Ed programme in the Colleges of Education in Ghana: envisage challenges and the way forward”

Atebubu College of Education's 7th congregation which took place on June 29, 2018 at the college Auditorium honoured 535 young Ghanaians.  They are made up of 376 regular 3 – year DBE graduands and 159 4 – year UTDBE graduands.

The ceremony started at 10: 30am with 75% of graduants, all tutors, the Queen mother of Atebubu Traditional Council and sub chiefs, and the MCE of Atebubu Amantin Municipal, and some invited guest in attendance.

The special guest of honour was Professor  Ocansey, the Director of Institute of the University of Cape Coast. 

UCC ORGANISED A 2-DAY ACTION RESEARCH WORKSHOP FOR ATEBUBU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

The Institute Of Education of the University of Cape Coast a mentoring University for Atebubu College of Education organised a 2-day Action Research workshop for the Teaching Staff on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th May 2018.

The workshop which was facilitated by two lecturers of the University:

1. Professor Kankam Boadu, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and 

2. Dr. Isaac Buabeng, Senior Lecturer in Science Education of the Department of Basic Eduction.

ATECOE ALUMNI DONATES FRIDGES TO ATEBUBU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION STAFF.

The Alumni of Atebubu College of Education, led by the President  Mr. Sam Boss has presented two table top and one standing fridges to the College Staff on Tuesday, 15th of August 2017. This is one of the several support by the association to the college. The Association has also planned to build a bungalow for the tutors who stay outside the campus very soon.

T-TEL CHALLENGE FUND INCEPTION MEETINGS

Atebubu College of Education organised an inception meeting to brief stakeholders in the Pru  Districts on the Pilot project in a ceremony at Danu-Fawa in the Prang community. In attendance was the Pru West Constituecy Member of parliament Hon. Mohammed Masawud, the District Chief Executive of the Pru District Mr. Emmanuel K. Opoku , the District Director of Education Mr. Emmanuel Effah Sakyi and the Chief and people of Prang traditional council. All the stakeholders were happy to be part of the stakeholders meeting. the Assistant Director of Education  Mr.

Atebubu College wins quiz competition

Atebubu college of education won the first prize in a quiz competition organized by. Teachers fund last Sunday 13th November 2016. The three competing colleges were Berekum College of Education, St. Joseph college and Atebubu College. Atebubu College of Education won the 2015 encouter when the grand finally was organized by Ghana Television

(GTV) on Sunday 13th December 2015.

 

ATECOE Wins T-tel Grant

Atebubu College of edcation is among the first 13 Colleges of Education in Ghana and the only College in the Ashanti-Brong Ahafo Colleges to win the T-TEL challenge fund.The Grand Award ceremony took place at the NCTE conference Hall for the 13 Colleges of Education on Wednesday August 17, 2016 . The Principal of the College Mr. Wayo Zakaria signed on behalf of the College Community and  Bashiru Amidu Witnessed for the project team members.
