A high powered delegation of Atebubu college of Education led by the Principal paid a courtesy call on the regional minister at his office to congratulate him of his appointment. The delegation used the oppotunity to outline some major challenges the school is faced with. The minister in response appreciated their kind gestureand promised to work within his limit to help deal with their challenges.
The Principle appreciated the warm reception given them and wished the minister well in his endeavors.

The Principal and the Academic Board on behalf of the Governing Council announced for the information of Atebubu College of Education past Students, Graduands, Parents and the general public that the 8th Congregation Ceremony for the award of Diploma in Basic Education Certificates to persons who completed their programme of study in 2018 is slated for; THURSDAY 11TH JULY, 2019 at 9:30AM at the College Auditorium.
Atebubu College of Education's 7th congregation which took place on June 29, 2018 at the college Auditorium honoured 535 young Ghanaians. They are made up of 376 regular 3 – year DBE graduands and 159 4 – year UTDBE graduands.
The ceremony started at 10: 30am with 75% of graduants, all tutors, the Queen mother of Atebubu Traditional Council and sub chiefs, and the MCE of Atebubu Amantin Municipal, and some invited guest in attendance.
The special guest of honour was Professor Ocansey, the Director of Institute of the University of Cape Coast.
The Institute Of Education of the University of Cape Coast a mentoring University for Atebubu College of Education organised a 2-day Action Research workshop for the Teaching Staff on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th May 2018.
The workshop which was facilitated by two lecturers of the University:
1. Professor Kankam Boadu, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and
2. Dr. Isaac Buabeng, Senior Lecturer in Science Education of the Department of Basic Eduction.
The T-TEL Challenge Fund Team and the management of Atebubu College of Education Organised a one-day feedback forum at ATECOE Auditorium to imform stakeholders on the End of the one year T-TEL Challenge fund Project Titled: "BECOMING A TEACHER: The impact of Teaching Practice on Teacher trainees in Atebubu College of Education" and the way forward.
